Kitchen Mechanic - Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is looking for a Kitchen Mechanic to join their Engineering team!
This stunning 374 room hotel is located three miles from Las Olas Boulevard's vibrant restaurants and shops, offers a full-service spa, multiple dining options and also boasts an outdoor pool and private cabanas. 
A Kitchen Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's kitchen equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
The ideal candidate will have general knowledge and understanding of commercial kitchen maintenance, is certified in refrigeration, has a genuine passion to want to grow and develop their career in the engineering field, the ability to work quickly and effectively both alone or as part of a team, reliable and have good customer service skills. 
This is a full-time position which requires full availability to work an 8 hour shift between 5am - 4:30PM - varying shifts across weekdays, weekends and holidays. 
Pay Rate: $20 per hour.
What will I be doing?
As a Kitchen Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's kitchen equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of kitchen equipment and machinery
Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
Perform equipment repairs
Record and report completed repairs in log book or property management system
Respond to team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
