Job Role
As a Room Service Waiter, you are responsible for preparing orders, setting trays and delivering items to guest rooms attentively and efficiently, and ensuring to provide excellent quality service as per the Hotel Standard operating procedure.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for answering all telephone calls and prioritizing the calls.
Directly involved in the order taking and order placing process, while dealing with guests' request and orders courteously, efficiently and promptly.
Demonstrates exceptional selling techniques by providing recommendations, and suggestions to all guests.
Assists the department to drive guest satisfaction by providing consistent guest experiences.
Have good knowledge of the Touché system of accounting to trace the name of the guest and to prepare & settle the bill for the food & beverage orders.
Maintains the daily order/log book to trace down all orders taken and phone calls received.
Performs a follow-up courtesy call after the order has been delivered and advises on clearance as well as upsells more food and beverage items (desserts, coffee or additional food and drinks).
Co-ordinates Room Service orders with Waiters to ensure timely delivery.
Logs and reports all guest feedback to the line manager.
Reports equipment malfunction and maintenance issues to the line manager.
Assists room service team in preparing mise-en-place when possible.
Assists in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment.
Maintains cleanliness of the workplace and surrounding area at all times.
Take all reasonable measures not to handle food or food contact surfaces in any way that is likely to compromise the safety and suitability of the food
Demonstrates proper grooming standards at all times.
Ensures that all food and beverages that are dispatched to the rooms are as per the SOP.
Follows up on the handovers logged in the log book by the previous shift.
Logs any handover for the following shift to have clear communication.

Dedicated facilities for gymnastics, aerobics, squash, bowling, tennis, track and field, volleyball, basketball and shooting complete the gamut of experiences, together with sports massage services, steam bath and Jacuzzi areas to support post-workout recovery.
