Job Description

As a Spa Receptionist you will be responsible for managing and organizing the reception area, delivering the highest standard of customer service and creating an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. Reflective of the positive image of the Company. It is critical that Spa Receptionists are able to establish interpersonal relationships with customers and all team members, being the first point of contact in the Spa. You are also responsible for monitoring day to day reception operations at the assigned branch including scheduling breaks, ensuring balanced bookings and room assignments.

Responsibilities:

-Receive payment by cash, credit card, vouchers and ensure all methods are valid / approved, received in full & recorded as per our standards
-Ensure that all revenues arising from Spa activities are properly registered at the close of each shift
-Enter transaction in the cash register and provide customers with the total bill
-Update data for all daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested by Spa Producer or Spa Supervisor, ensuring all information is sent on time and checked for accuracy
-Where needed by team members, report / communicate any stock shortages, requests for orders or transfers and any maintenance related issue in line with our procedure
-Report and record all members/client challenges in line with Pause Spa policies & procedure and inform the Spa Producer of all situation whether resolved or not.
-Establish long term professional relationship with Pause Spa clients, employees, and business partners
-Ensure the efficient smooth running of the day-to-day operation, service, cleanliness and safely in the reception area
-Following all company policies & procedures as outlined in Spa Receptions SOP’s, Checklists and Management Expectations.
-Provide outstanding customer service Pause Spa clients all times
-Have a complete knowledge of all spa treatments, promotion and loyalty / membership program including prices, durations, benefits, term & condition etc;
-Ensure client records are completed for the therapist to conduct a thorough screening prior to commencing the treatment
-Be flexible and accommodating with all requests made by direct Supervisor or Spa Producer relating to branch assignment, shift schedule and any other job related tasks
-Prepare weekly and monthly orders and monitor its stock, ensure economical use of the stock
-Drive business and loyalty through exemplary guest service including remembering and showing recognition to regular clients, updating client record with preference, and ensuring therapist are aware of all client preference prior to the guest arrival
-Ensure spa appointments, therapist breaks and rooms assignments are scheduled efficiently and in manner that allows us to maximize potential booking and where required contact guests suggest amending timings
-Ensure team members follow Pause Spa standard: grooming, client profile and history, consultation, journey, treatment.
-Monitor schedules and bookings for upcoming days
-Creation of monthly spa roster

Job Requirements

-1 Year previous experience in reception, sale or customer service field
-Proven certification and qualification to work as spa receptionist
-Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
-Attention to detail, highly organized and focused
-Good level of English both written and verbal
-Well versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
