Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain a high Guest service focus by approaching your job with the Guests always in mind and being proactive in a timely manner towards their needs and request
Have a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both customers and colleagues
Motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seizing opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve your personal performance
Flexible, responds quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you
Maintain high team focus by showing co-operation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals
Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational/environmental procedures in the Hotel
Actively promote the services and facilities of the Hilton Hotels to guests and suppliers of the Hotel
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner that ensures your safety and that of others in your workplace
Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints / queries satisfactorily
Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and upkeep of all service equipment
Responsible for all service preparations before, during and after the service (mis-en-place & mis-en-scene)
Be fully familiar with the Hilton Brand Service Standards and to follow these standards
Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log for further follow up
Adhere to the Hotel’s policy relating to fires, evacuations, hygiene and safety
Adhere to the Hotel’s team members’ handbook and to the rules and regulations
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene by adhering to the Grooming Policy
Follows the established service sequence to provide consistent service at all times
Thorough menu and Food and Beverage product knowledge
Maintain a positive and outgoing attitude on the job
Take direction from supervisors regarding operational issues
Maintain a clean and orderly working area
Provide courteous and professional service at all times
Complete all side work and duties assigned
Assist in cleaning of the outlet as assigned
Effectively communicate with other employees

·   Take orders and suggests food & beverage items to guests

· The management reserves its right to move, transfer or re-assign team members from their accustomed shift or schedule, job function and department as business dictates.  Likewise, Team Members may also be tasked to assist other departments or other Hilton properties on task force when necessary and when business demands. 

What are we looking for? 

A Food & Beverage Attendant serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: 

• Minimum 2 year of experience in a related field. 

• High School diploma or GED. 

• 1 year of experience in Food & Beverage, Guest Services, or related professional area. 

• Able to read and understand work related documents. 

• Able to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. 

• Proficient in English to meet business needs. 

• Computer literate. 

• Good organization and communication skills.
