What to expect?

 

The HSM Continental Europe team manages the procurement of goods and services for more than a thousand hotels in the region, which includes all managed Hilton properties as well as other franchisee and third-party clients of Hilton Supply Management. As a Supply Chain Management intern, you will support the European team with projects & ongoing activities whilst ensuring effective internal & external stakeholder communication. Tasks can be expected in a wide variety: ranging from implementing a new F&B supplier to consolidating the sustainability initiatives or assisting in the organization of meetings/events. You will report directly to the Sr. Director Regional Procurement and will belong to an international, energetic and young team located all over Europe, which gives you the opportunity to seek for new and innovative possibilities within all aspects of Supply Management. Your office is located at Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, but partially working from home is an option.

 

What else will you be doing?

 

In this versatile role, you will learn about all facets of the procurement organization. One week can be totally different from the other, depending on what projects are running at that moment. Tasks vary from weekly and monthly fixed tasks, such as consolidating the weekly update for the region, to ad-hoc request. This can be either presentations for meetings, incoming requests from external clients, supporting marketing activities or analyzing new procurement opportunities.

Who are you?

 

You are an opportunity-seeker who dares to take initiative! Our dynamic team is looking for a hospitality lover who is eager to learn more about the processes behind the scenes and likes to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Preferably, we look for a 4th year Hospitality or Facility Management student that is available for 6 to 9 months. Fluency in the English language is required for this role.
