What will I be doing?
A Rooms coordinator is responsible for all pre-registration, room blocks, and handling all special reservation requests for individuals and groups in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specific tasks required of this position include:
Processing group reservation information including rooming lists, booking links, suites, resumes and billing requirements
Creating and managing inventory for all group blocks in communications with Sales/Events departments.
Processing reservation request calls and emails as appropriate, assisting internal and external customers.
Checking and responding to emails daily and in a timely manner - internally and externally
What are we looking for?
Our Ideal candidate will have;
1-2 years experience in a hotel and guest interaction - have an understanding of hotel operations.
OnQ experience is an asset for this role
Self Starter - Go getter, the ability to work independently and takes directions well
Great at multitasking in a fast pace environment
Proficient in computers - outlook, excel.
Customer service oriented, hardworking and attention to details
