Job Description
The iconic Hilton Chicago is looking for a Senior Affiliate Event Sales Manager to join their team to solicit and book all affiliate events for future citywide business and In-House groups.
Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose
Responsible for the solicitation and booking of all affiliate events for future citywide business and In-House groups. Maximizes and drives incremental revenue for the hotel.
Sales & Solicitation:
Identifies current definite in-house group business
Communicates with applicable managers servicing the program, including Event Managers, to obtain client information
Communicates with clients and confirms history and approval process based on contracted terms
Utilizes multiple and creative sources of information to forecast and solicit new business
Identifies and attends networking opportunities to determine upcoming (2 years or more) citywide business
Conducts research of previous affiliate events in Hilton systems to identify and solicit rebooking of business
Partners with the Sales team in assisting with or coordinating hotel site visits
Client & Internal Communication
Communicates with clients and ensures proposals and contracts are created and approved on a timely manner
Communicates with applicable departments and ensures payments, BEOs, sales agreements, logs, and contracts are implemented on a timely manner
Implementation of Service
Negotiates pricing and terms & conditions not included in main agreement for those companies and organizations affiliated with groups
Attends internal and external meetings
Participates in the development and measurement of personal and team goals and action plans
