Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Role



To supervise the daily operation as well as the HSK Attendants to ensure standards are followed and cleanliness in all related areas are maintained



Job Responsibilities



Prepares and delegates daily task to HSK Attendants and provide with necessary supplies, to ensure efficient service on the floors

Ensures that HSK Attendants have all the required cleaning tools/equipment
Ensures that HSK Attendants are following the prescribed cleaning procedures
Handle guest requests and complains with care and follow up effectively to enhance guest satisfaction
Inspect rooms physical status and make necessary reports for any discrepancy
Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness as per the set standard
Works with the HSK Attendants in the preparation for the rooms for VIP arrival
Report damaged and missing items in the room as well any lost & found items by following the set procedures
Checks pantries and make sure they are organized, cleaned and well stocked
Monitor room status, i.e. VIP/DND etc. effectively communicate rooms status and release room’s to the Front Office department to maintain an efficient operation
Follow up out of order rooms
Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out properly and corresponds to the established procedures
Receive any complaints and report to the Asst. Executive Housekeeper for necessary action or judgement
To assist in the inventory of Line, SOE and FF&E
To ensure the proper handling of equipment and preventive maintenance is carried out
Trains, monitors and evaluates staff and report any performance issues
Performs other duties as assigned by the Asst. Executive Housekeeper
To carry out any other reasonable and lawful request directed by the Management

Job Requirements



Secondary graduate
Positive attitude and trustworthy
Can speak the English language
Passion for the company
Minimum 2 years experience in the same position with a 4* / 5* hotel
Able to work under pressure
