About the program

Six months that change your career

This six-month Hotel Management Traineeship begins with two weeks of training at Shanghai Normal University, where you'll pick up basic Chinese, learn about hospitality, and get tips on working and communicating in a new culture.

After that, you'll head to some of the world's top hotel chains, IHG, Accor, Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott and Shangri-La, to put your skills into practice. You'll gain real-world experience while exploring China's rich culture and dynamic business environment.

The hotel and LinkedTour cover the majority of costs

Applicants are responsible for just a few items:

  • Round-trip ticket to Shanghai, can be purchased after the contract is signed, so you find the best prices.
  • Visa fees, covered by the candidate, ranging from €5 to €100 depending on your country.
  • Registration fee, if you are not a current student or do not come from a partner university, a €150 registration fee applies.
