 Hands on experience in working all day dining restaurants  Escort customers to their tables and explain the menu items  Take food and beverage orders and enter each item ordered into restaurant register system  Serve dishes to patrons at tables as required and take action to correct any problems  To find out if customers need additional items  Communicate customer orders to kitchen staff and assist them in the preparation  Responsible to clean tables after customers have finished dining  Prepare bills with itemized costs & appropriate taxes and collect payments from customers  Responsible to ensure all equipment in working areas are in proper working condition  To perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor  To keep floors dry and clean to avoid slip/fall accidents
