I’m currently working as a Senior Sourcing and Supply Chain Executive at Silueta (Pvt) Ltd., which is one of the leading manufacturing plants under MAS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka which is the largest apparel manufacturer in South Asia. I have been professionally involved in the field of procurement and supply chain management for over five years managing multiple international customers, suppliers with complex supply chains across different nations. I'm also a graduate in BSc. in International Transportation Management and Logistics at Dalian Maritime University, China with a Second-Class Upper award, and I'm currently reading (online) for an MSc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Birmingham City University, UK.
In addition to managing multifaceted processes over tight time schedules, I have also led teams in numerous cost savings projects in the companies I have worked with. My recent achievement as a Project Lead (at Silueta Pvt Ltd.) was leading 5 teams of Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Inventory and Warehouse management to save USD 300,000 from 13 main projects driven across 6 months’ time period. Overall, I have end to end experience and knowledge in all four areas of procurement (Production, Non-Inventory and CAPEX, Product and commercial), supply chain, planning, import, export, clearance, category management, overseas supplier handling, inventory controlling, supplier and customer relationship management and global sourcing.
I'm a hardworking individual who possess excellent leadership, communication and personal relation skills which are crucial to be engaged in the supply chain industry. I have always had a passion to work in this industry and I can commit myself towards achieving the organizational goals of your renowned company while serving the community.
