In my years as retail sales supervisor, I have led my teams to success, raising sales volumes and meeting financial objectives. Initially employed as a sales associate, over a period of seven years I was promoted to my current position as sales supervisor. This trajectory has enabled me to gain significant hands-on experience of the various aspects of a successful retail business. In my current position, I supervise a staff of sales associates, cashiers, and customer service representatives. Due to my experience, I am able to motivate them effectively and to implement training processes that are accessible and goal oriented. As sales supervisor, I also ensure a friendly and organized store environment. In addition to developing sales strategies and sourcing merchandise, I prepare a budget, analyze sales data, and make projections and recommendations for future action. I strive to achieve the company’s financial goals by ensuring that we stay within the budget. I also work to maximize sales through associate training, store organization, and promotional schemes.
