Front Office Management Trainee
As a Front Office Management Trainee at Hilton Zhoushan, you will gain hands-on experience in one of the most important departments of a full-service international hotel. The Front Office sits at the centre of the guest journey, from arrival and check-in to guest communication, service coordination, problem-solving and departure.
This program is designed for young hospitality professionals who want to build a strong foundation in hotel operations, guest service, communication and future management development. You will work closely with experienced Hilton team members and learn how the Front Office team creates smooth, professional and personalised experiences for domestic and international travellers.
Throughout the traineeship, you will develop practical skills such as guest communication, service recovery, teamwork, cross-department coordination, attention to detail, operational awareness and service leadership, and gain a deeper understanding of how the Front Office supports overall hotel performance and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily Front Office operations in line with Hilton's international service standards.
- Welcome and assist domestic and international guests in a warm, professional and confident manner.
- Assist with guest arrivals, check-ins, check-outs, enquiries and service requests.
- Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, restaurants, local attractions, transport and guest services.
- Communicate proactively with guests and create personalised, thoughtful service experiences during their stay.
- Handle guest questions, special requests and basic concerns with patience, professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Concierge, Groups & Tours and other departments to follow up on guest needs.
- Support smooth communication for international guests and assist with English-language guest service when needed.
- Help collect guest comments and feedback, and support follow-up actions to improve guest satisfaction.
- Promote hotel services, facilities, restaurants and local experiences when appropriate.
- Observe and learn how Front Office supervisors and managers organise daily operations, manage guest flow and solve service issues.
- Support the team during busy arrival and departure periods while maintaining efficiency and service quality.
- Take part in on-the-job training on Hilton service standards, guest communication, hotel systems and operational procedures.
- Maintain a polished professional appearance and follow hotel grooming, uniform and service standards.

Food & Beverage Management Trainee
As a Food & Beverage Management Trainee at Hilton Zhoushan, you will gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of the hotel's Food & Beverage outlets. This program is designed for young hospitality professionals who want to build a strong foundation in guest service, restaurant operations, communication and service leadership.
You will work closely with experienced Hilton team members and learn how a professional Food & Beverage department delivers smooth, warm and personalised service to domestic and international guests. The role lets you understand not only daily service tasks, but also the coordination, standards and guest-focused mindset behind successful outlet operations.

- Promote hotel services, facilities, restaurants and guest experiences when appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with Front Office, Groups & Tours and other departments to support in-house guests and group business.
- Assist with guest communication for international clients and help collect guest comments and feedback.
- Coordinate with other departments to follow up on guest requests, concerns and complaints.
- Support Food & Beverage English communication and training activities when needed.
- Observe and learn how supervisors and managers organise outlet operations, manage service flow and maintain guest satisfaction.
- Stay attentive during busy service periods and support the team with flexibility, efficiency and professionalism.
- Take part in on-the-job training on Hilton service standards, guest communication and hospitality operations.

Requirements
- College degree or above.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Skilled in basic computer and office software use.
