About the program
As a Front Office Management Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training in luxury guest service, leadership and cross-departmental operations. The program offers hands-on experience working directly with VIP guests and exposure to various front office functions, including the Concierge and Club Lounge. Key responsibilities
Front Office Management Trainee
- Deliver professional, courteous and personalised service to every guest.
- Handle guest and colleague enquiries, complaints and special requests with efficiency and care.
- Keep exceptional presentation and grooming standards.
- Maintain a collaborative work environment and contribute to a positive guest experience.
- Support the front office leadership team in running daily operations and service excellence.
- Rotate across front office functions, including the Concierge and Club Lounge.
- Work closely with VIP guests, supporting their unique needs and expectations.
Food & Beverage Management Trainee
- Follow the procedures, policies and techniques of service.
- Build a full understanding of menu preparations to ensure good salesmanship.
- Coordinate the work of the team and maintain established procedures and policies.
- Recommend menu items and beverages where appropriate.
- Communicate efficiently with the kitchen.
- Help prepare training programs for staff.
- Promote a positive working atmosphere, with an emphasis on relations with the team.
- Uphold staff appearance standards and punctuality.
- Greet guests, handle comments and problems, and promote sales to meet forecast revenues.
- Recommend menu items and beverages to guests, and take orders.
- Talk with guests to build relationships and add a personal touch.
- Requisition supplies to maintain the right stock levels.
- Cover the assistant restaurant manager's duties in their absence.
- Carry out any other duties as required by the restaurant manager.
Requirements
- Fluent English; French language skills strongly preferred.
- At least 3 months of experience in hospitality or customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptable and open-minded, ready to embrace life in Beijing for six months.
- Professional, with a genuine passion for luxury hospitality and service excellence.
